19th Century Loom-Woven Beadwork, Great Lakes, Vertical Duo
Ceramic over reclaimed oak.
This design is based upon one of many beautiful bead motifs that were developed by 19th century Native Americans of the Great Lakes region. This glass bead design would have been woven on a simple loom and worn on bags, pouches and sashes.
